We are looking for an experienced c-arm technician to assist during injections at our new facility in College Park, GA. This is a position is PRN and the person in this role must commit to working every Thursday from approximately 8am - 4pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform fluoroscopic imaging during pain management procedures as requested by the physicians.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols, including the use of lead aprons and shields.
- Responsible for safe handling of equipment and films.
- Assist in room turnover in preparation for cases that follow.
- Assist in additional duties as requested.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure when directly dealing with patients.
- Basic knowledge of computer programs.
- Must be able to work independently but also as part of a team.
- Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
